Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh claimed that progressives would use the tragic shooting in Tucson, Arizona, to orchestrate a “clampdown” of political opponents and that “the losers in November 2010” would use the event to “revitalize their political fortunes.”

Sycophant Jim Hoft lavished praise on Limbaugh for this theory over at his Gateway Pundit blog:

Far Left Democrat Robert Brady had leglislation ready to go on Monday to restrict offensive language.
