Lara Trump says “election integrity” is “the most important thing that we are going to focus on at the RNC”

LARA TRUMP (HOST): This has been a very exciting week. If you've been paying attention, lot of things moving around and shifting, but it's all for the better. And it will be so that we have an incredible team as we head towards November.

So we're going to be doing a lot of fundraising. I'm going to be sending you, you'll probably get emails and texts from me, and we're going to be doing a lot of voter turnout and a lot of election integrity. This is the most important thing that we are going to focus on at the RNC because let's be honest, if you out there don't believe that your vote matters and you don't believe we have free, fair, and transparent elections, we're not living in the United States of America.

We know how the other side likes to operate. Make no mistake about it. They've been playing this game totally differently. They've been over here. We've been over here. And now we've got to come and meet them and play the game better than they do because that's how we're going to win.

What is the strategy of Trump’s team to deal with election integrity issues? Funny you should ask this question and we’re already talking about it. Well here the thing, I’m not going to talk too in detail and in depth about this because I know there are a lot of Democrats who are big fans of this show who love to tune in and that’s great and we love that. But I’m not going to give you guys – show our hand to you. So sorry, I’m not going to talk about all of it.

The Washington Post reported that the RNC recently hired Christina Bobb as senior counsel for election integrity. Bobb is a Trump lawyer who previously worked for the far-right network One America News and has “espoused false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.” Bobb wrote a book titled Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024 and was deeply involved in the conspiracy fueled Arizona election “audit” of the 2020 presidential election.
