From the May 4 edition of Courtside Entertainment Group's The Laura Ingraham Show:
LAURA INGRAHAM: Ted Cruz bowing out last night saying that there was no viability for him. That's what his line was that he had drawn in the sand the other day. And it was the right decision. There's no doubt about it. He did not congratulate Donald Trump. Donald Trump did not call him. That needs to change. They both need to talk to each other. INGRAHAM: The coalition, is it still possible? I think it is. I don't think, as nasty as it got and especially toward the end, I still think it's possible. And all the things that were said about people like me, and Sean Hannity, and Matt Drudge, and many others like us. But Ted Cruz's future is in this populist strain of conservatism. And if he has a future, it can't be fighting the tide of history right now. It has to be embracing it in any way that he can embrace it. But it's up to him. He's going to make his own decisions. And we certainly wish him the best. And he can be a big force, of course, in U.S.Senate. But at this point, he has some big decisions to make.
