LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Why is D.E.I. threatening? Let's start -- we'll go backwards, how is it threatening lives?
HEATHER MAC DONALD (GUEST): Well, first of all, let me say, Laura, thank you so much for having me on. You don't list the actual group that's at the bottom of the totem pole of respectability, of honor, of acknowledgment in our culture, which is straight white males. I mean, they are -- they are the pariahs, the ones that are blamed for any social ills that the elite chooses to acknowledge. And it's not just people are saying things off the cuff, you have Biden running on a anti-white platform and embracing that platform even in his inauguration speech, saying that there's a continued stain of racism on American souls that is the result of what -- the consequence of white bigotry.
He has incessantly hammered that theme. The police are, you know, destroying Blacks, that Blacks are right to fear for their lives every time they step out doors either from -- from whites, or from the police - this is a quite explicit vendetta. And D.E.I. is the idea that any racial disparity in any institution is, by definition, the result of racism. There are no other explanations allowed, whether it's academic skills gaps or behavior gaps. And so, we are tearing down meritocratic standards.
