MARK LEVIN (HOST): “Voting rights bill," they call this monstrosity that they want to vote on, “voting rights bill" -- and if they don't get what they want, they're going to say it's because the racist filibuster rule is in place. The racist filibuster that was used by Obama, and Cory Booker and others -- hardly white supremacy crowd, no doubt about it.
Rather than get rid of the filibuster, I have a different idea. Why don't we get rid of the Democrat Party? Since it's the Democrat Party that has abused the filibuster in the name of slavery, in the name of segregation, in the name of Jim Crow, anti-Civil Rights Act of ‘64, anti-Civil Rights Act of ‘65. The filibuster rule in and of itself isn't discriminatory, it's not racist. The Democrat Party throughout its history has been discriminatory and racist, and it's discriminatory and racist as I speak.
It just moves around. It slithers around like a snake.
