MARK LEVIN (HOST): Senate GOP unhappy with McCarthy on impeachment inquiry. It's a fool's errand. Senate Republicans are unhappy with speaker Kevin McCarthy's decision to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden as they worry it'll backfire on their party. Quote, it's a waste of time. It's a fool's errand, one Senate Republicans said -- who? Oh, no, no, no -- on the condition of anonymity to speak freely and critically about the politically charged decision.
A coward, a backstabbing RINO. The senator said even if the House did vote to impeach Biden after an inquiry, there's no way the Senate controlled by Democrats would vote to convict. Well, that was the same with Trump. That was the same with Trump, twice. Fortunately, it'll be dispensed with fairly quickly.
Listen to this Republican coward. If they ever send articles of impeachment over to us, said the Republican senator, we know how this is going to end. It just creates tumult within the conference. I can see it already, how people are going to react when they send a message if they go that far. And, by the way, it's not Romney. Romney said in an interview today he supports the inquiry. You know, it's one of the pallbearers around McConnell. Could well be a Thune, or Cornyn, or one of those fools.
