SEAN HANNITY (HOST): And, you know, Dr. Oz, who I really have a lot of respect for, he's interviewing this guy on his TV show tomorrow, he has interviewed this French researcher who’s now had a second study with incredible results, this time 1,000 patients, and he says we are beyond saying it's anecdotal at this point and we’re beyond telling people it's not safe at this point as backed up by what Dr. Wallace is saying.
DEBORAH BIRX (WHITE HOUSE CORONAVIRUS TASK FORCE): And i think that’s why the administration has really worked to make this drug available to physicians around the United States, so that they can also look at that literature and decide whether to use this or not in an off-label use. And physicians have used off-label drugs for a very long time. At the same time, there are rigorous studies on going -- clinical trials that will look at this drug and other drugs in its ability to actually, in a clinical trial, have a strong impact on the disease.
HANNITY: Listen, I think as our friend Dr. Oz says, we love clinical trials. We don't have time for clinical trials, the army that you have, not the army you wish you had. And we know all these countries, Israel, Turkey, Spain, France, the French, France, Great Britain -- they are all using it. And I guess the question I'm looking for is we have heard from patients all around the world. We’ve heard from -- we had a representative in the Michigan area today say thank you to President Trump for off-label use and her doctor.
