KRISTINE FRAZAO (SINCLAIR NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT): En route to Kenosha, Wisconsin, President Trump providing more details about an incident he says is under investigation involving a group on an airplane.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: The entire plane filled up with the looters, the anarchists, the rioters -- people that obviously were looking for trouble.

FRAZAO: These claims so far without any evidence closely mirror a disproven post that circulated on social media back in June. The president also making this allegation in an interview on Fox News Monday night.

TRUMP: People that you've never heard of. People that are in the dark shadows.

FRAZAO: The president’s critics now worried his words could incite more damage after another violent weekend in cities like Washington, D.C.

MAYOR MURIEL BOWSER (WASHINGTON, D.C.): What I’m worried about is this country descending into a race war.

FRAZAO: In Kenosha, more than half of the 200 people arrested were from outside of the county.

Local leaders in several cities now say a lot of the damage is being caused by, quote, “outside agitators,” even launching investigations to see if some of them have been paid. In Washington, D.C., over the weekend, 70% of those arrested were from outside of the city.

AMANDA SIEBE (PROTESTER): We went from Portland to Washington, D.C., for the march and we helped out with the protest. We have food, water, medical equipment that we give away for free.

FRAZAO: Some now worried they’ll need to bring additional supplies like shields and bulletproof vests, in some cases blaming police for getting aggressive.

JEREMY BAJKO (PROTESTER): As the police line moved, I was trying to get out of the way in the safest way for everybody. And that’s when he personally went out of his way to run up to my vehicle, smash the window, violently drag me out of it.
