AHTRA ELNASHAR (SINCLAIR NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT): The political world woke up Wednesday morning to a New York Post report alleging former Vice President Joe Biden wasn't honest about his involvement with Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine. The Post reports Mr. Biden met with an executive of Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company on whose Board Hunter Biden served less than a year before Biden pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who investigated the company.
Steve Bannon reportedly told the Post about the emails earlier this week.

ELNASHAR: The Biden campaign told Politico no such meeting ever happened, and cited Republican investigations in the Senate that failed to find proof of any wrongdoing by the former vice president and his work with Ukraine. Now, Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin says the Senate Homeland Security committee is investigating the email cited in the Post report.
The validity of the emails and how the Post obtained them have come into question, since they were provided by President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, a key figure in the president’s impeachment trial and acquittal on related matters. The owner of the New York Post, Rupert Murdoch, also has close ties to the president.

ELNASHAR: On Wednesday afternoon, a spokesman for Facebook said the social media platform is limiting the distribution of the New York Post story pending a fact check. Now, the president's son Donald Trump Jr. described this as election interference.
