WILL CAIN (HOST): It's the oddest thing. As we supposedly are attempting to move towards a more equal society, a more inclusive society, we have become more segregated and more divided seemingly every day. We have economic division, we have racial segregation. And our newest form of creating a caste system is the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated.
I have a buddy that yesterday wanted to go to a New York Yankees game. He quickly found out there's a vaccinated section and an unvaccinated section for Yankee Stadium. Not only that, there's a vaccinated versus unvaccinated entrance at Yankee Stadium. If you want to attend a game with your 16 or 17-year-old son, be prepared to show your vaccination card.
And oh, by the way, and I highlight this because the language is so grotesque, you need to make sure your vaccination card shows that you got your final dose before two weeks ago. In order to walk into a Major League Baseball stadium, you're answering questions with language that includes when did you get your final dose? From there were filtering people through different gates into different sections.
I know this is happening in California as well. I had another friend text me from San Francisco, say he was headed to a Giants game and he had to figure out which section he could sit in.
It's as though we can't get enough of this segregation. And what comes part and parcel with this division? Two classes of people, the elites and everyone else. The elites make the rules, everyone else plays by the rules, even if the rules are unwritten.
