At pillow magnate and serial misinformer Mike Lindell’s “cyber symposium,” he has promised to showcase evidence that China hacked the 2020 general election in favor of President Joe Biden. Lindell and a gaggle of extremists and election conspiracy theorists have started presenting unfathomably absurd and nitwit claims regarding the ways in which they believe the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.
The misinformation gabfest is being aired by several right-wing news outlets on a range of platforms. Some of the websites, including YouTube and Facebook, have policies that do not allow election misinformation on their platform. The live streaming of the symposium apparently violates these policies, which are clearly not being followed.
