JAKE SHERMAN: Also, I just want to mention one other thing. The narrative that Democrats were secretive in their process and Republicans are being better than them is just completely off. I was there in '09 when Democrats passed this thing; my weekends were ruined. There were a lot of hearings. Republicans are doing something completely antithetical to everything they've preached for the last decade, and I think it's important to keep that in mind amid all the noise.
