HUGH HEWITT (HOST): It seems like the Scott Pruitt kerfuffle is over. As I always tell people, Scott's my friend and my son works at the EPA. But I was hitting this hard yesterday and by the end of the day I looked up and there was Mollie Hemingway, there was the Washington Times, there was the Washington Examiner, Kim Strassel went after it this morning. The center right understands that Pruitt's been leading the deregulatory charge and they're not going to let him get thrown under the bus. And the president is standing behind him, et cetera, as all these nonsense scandals -- they're just trying to stop the deregulation effort and the attempt to bring EPA into the rule of law.
