LINDA SANCHEZ (D-CA): The NRA has painted Democrats today as criminals for calling a House vote on gun control legislation. Well the question that I have for the NRA is what is what is my crime by asking for the safety of my child and all children? And what about the rights of thousands of people who have lost their lives to gun violence and the families who have to grieve and pick up the pieces in the aftermath. How we can stand here and not even hold a vote on sensible gun legislation after what happened in Orlando boggles my mind.
