DANA LOESCH (HOST): Then you have this moment, which was captured by cameras, including still cameras, and the media and Senator Kamala Harris wasted no time in trying to politicize it. You had the father of a victim of the Parkland massacre who approached Brett Kavanaugh, here’s one angle, to shake his hand. There's no sound, but as you can see, you can clearly see amidst all the confusion and the mayhem that Democrats worked so hard to create -- and in the immediate aftermath of protesters disrupting hearings, causing security to gather around Kavanaugh as he began to leave following the morning session, this Fred Guttenberg, who is a Parkland parent, he walks up and asks for a handshake.

This was after he was tweeting that he was never going to let Kavanaugh -- is going to do everything he could to make sure Kavanaugh wasn’t confirmed. And there were already reporters ready to go. It was just immediately, when Kavanaugh stood up for his break after being heckled all day and having his family being escorted out after unhinged protesters were creating disturbances.

Kavanaugh couldn't possibly comprehend what was happening. He just sees a guy approaching him and then security rushed up. And so he has no idea who this person is, security is right there, one of them steps in between, and we have multiple clips of this, one of them steps in between the parent, the Parkland parent and Kavanaugh. And Kavanaugh has no clue what's going on, everybody’s talking and he’s escorted out. So now the new narrative -- and you can see it here.

You can see Kavanaugh stand up in this footage, and the Parkland, there it is in slow motion, there's the Parkland parent walking. Kavanaugh has his back turned to him because he's leaving. He has no idea what’s going on, here comes other security individuals who are getting involved because at this point he's been heckled all day and his family had to be escorted out. He doesn't know who is approaching him or not. It’s a completely chaotic moment. Here’s another angle here. He doesn’t know, photographers are there, people are -- there’s the security guy walking him out.

So the narrative is, you probably guessed, that Brett Kavanaugh is an inhuman monster who doesn't care about the parents of dead children.

LOESCH: Newsflash, Kavanaugh's job is not to be an advocate for anybody. It’s not his job to be an advocate for victims. It’s not his job to be an advocate for corporations. It’s not his job to be anybody’s advocate. His job is to dispassionately determine constitutionality in the cases that he will oversee. Everything else is just campaigning. And goodness gracious, the people who took part in perpetrating this, awful.
