Fox contributor attacks Sen. Lindsey Graham for describing allegations against Pete Hegseth as “very concerning”
Jones: “Lindsey Graham doesn't care at all about these attacks. He cares about being able to wage war everywhere he can because that's what he advocates for.”

LAWRENCE JONES (CO-HOST): Let's bring in retired marine bomb tech and Fox News contributor Joey Jones. You just heard Bill's report and he talks about Pete's op-ed. This is what Pete says in that op-ed, "I have never backed down from a fight and I won't back down from this one." I think these words are important because, as I said yesterday I feel like he is being Kavanaugh-ed. These are unnamed people and the same people that are going to have to vote on this have had unnamed people accuse them of things.
JOHNNY JOEY JONES (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): You know, I disagree with the Kavanaugh a little bit; he is not being Brett Kavanaugh-ed, he is being Donald Trump-ed. He is being accused, they said Donald Trump was unqualified and couldn't do the job, they said he didn't have good moral character. They used a family member against him. Everything they have done to Pete they did to Donald Trump. And Donald Trump became, ended up being one of the best presidents we have ever had. And so, I'm so proud of Pete for sticking to this.
For these senators, someone like Lindsey Graham to make the comments he made a couple days ago. Lindsey Graham has never shied away from an opportunity to ride Donald Trump's coattails. He had no problem with salacious allegations that were essentially proven false or had another story when it came to Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham getting to raise money and keep his seat, but now they are very concerning when it comes to these same types of empty attacks on Pete Hegseth. No, the truth is Lindsey Graham doesn't care at all about these attacks. He cares about being able to wage war everywhere he can because that's what he advocates for. And to his credit, he is honest about it, I'm not even attacking him for it. But if that's your problem, sit Pete in front of you and ask him questions about how he would run the Department of Defense, and what kind of policies the president wants and how Pete Hegseth would implement those policies. Don't sit here and go in front of a camera and say that these character attacks are concerning because, listen, god forbid we put a microscope on any of those people.
