It's just that I'm getting nervous because the corruption trial of Rod Blagojevich is quickly winding down and a few weeks ago Politico famously/breathlessly announced the Chicago courtroom showdown “could singe” the Obama White House (then again, it “could” not), and that the “threat of political damage remains serious.”

But so far it's been crickets in terms of the trial having any effect on the administration.

What gives Politico?
