This is how the original headline read:

Far-right bloggers complained, and soon the Politico headline was changed:

West rakes in cash

In other words, bye-bye “bombastic.”

The article itself was about former Army colonel Allen West who is running for Congress in Florida. As Politico reported, West is a “bomb-throwing” candidate. In fact, he's called Obama and “effete” “messiah” who suffers from “delusional malignant narcissism.”

Doesn't that qualify as “bombastic” at Politico?
