STEVE GRUBER (HOST): We are steering the country back away from the brink and hopefully back down the road in a normal fashion. When you see some of these appointments, are you pleased?
KEVIN ROBERTS (HERITAGE FOUNDATION): Honestly, I'm ecstatic. I mean, this is exceeding our expectations and our expectations were high because President-elect Trump of course, has a proven record. He also obviously has the profile of the CEO and you and I and so many in your audience know that great CEOs understand that they don't have the answers to all of the questions. The one thing that they do really well is appoint talented people to develop those answers and implement plans.
And so, from his appointment of Susie Wiles as his Chief of Staff to my friend, Stephen Miller, as deputy chief of staff. And of course, I do have to say my favorite, which would surprise no one including the President-elect, Tom Homan, our visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation as border czar who's already just sending signals that you better go back if you're here illegally.
But all of the names that you mentioned and then some that are rumored to be named in the next couple of days, this has the making, Steve, of one of the best cabinets in modern American history and that is fitting because there is a lot of work ahead.
GRUBER: Yeah, this is like an all star group. This is like the Avengers. I mean, I hate to go there but it's kind of what we're looking at here.
