A QAnon influencer says she got credentials for the Republican National Convention

A QAnon influencer said in a livestream that she received credentials for the 2024 Republican National Convention, which she was attending.

In a July 17 stream on X (formerly Twitter), Terpsichore Maras-Lindeman, a QAnon-supporting podcaster known online as “Tore,” walked around the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, including pointing out where she was seated for it. 

Maras-Lindeman — who has previously targeted elected officials for harassment and coordinated with election deniers Sidney Powell and Patrick Byrne — went to an area at the convention for right-wing outlets, complaining about their distance from the main area. While doing so, she said, “I don’t even wear my credentials. It’s in my pocket.” The QAnon influencer then revealed what appeared to be her convention credentials. (The badge she shows on camera matches the credential used at the Republican convention that day, as verified by Media Matters.)

TERPSICHORE MARAS-LINDEMAN (QANON INFLUENCER): Did you see? It was like a 15-minute walk, OK? And they’re not even fucking allowed near the convention. Even Real America’s Voice is here. These are all the people that got President Trump elected. These are the people that are the backbone of conservative media, OK? And they have them like outcasts. But CNN has its own building with a grill, right? And seats, right? ABC and Fox [News] are in there. 

But your real media is right here. Far, far away. They could have been home. They could have been home. Obviously, they want to have interviews and they’re calling people. But I want you guys to fathom this. This is why I did this today. I want people to understand the people see this, and it’s important, OK? It is very important that we understand. I could be sitting in there. I’m a guest, right? Whatever you said, I’m purple or I don’t even know what he was talking about. Like I don’t care. I don’t even wear my credentials. It’s in my pocket. See, it’s right here in my pocket. The thing is, these outlets are the ones that actually got President Trump elected. These are the people that fought for him when they stole the elections, right?

That same day, also likely in Milwaukee, Maras-Lindeman posted a photo of herself with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), saying she had an “unscripted conversation” about “foreign and domestic policy” with him.
