RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY: Conservatives fight for ideas. Liberals fight for territory. The radical left has taken over so many aspects of American life -- our schools, Hollywood, and entertainment, corporations, technology, and as we've seen with this pandemic, even science, injecting their toxic and divisive identity politics and critical race theories into every institution.

One of the last vestiges of the color-blind American meritocracy is the U.S. military. It was also ahead of its time when it came to race.

Harry Truman's executive order to desegregate the military in 1948 paved the way for the Civil Rights Movement, which began several years later.

And it makes sense -- you want a cohesive force. Segregation hurt our military. And now, identity politics is too.
