Fox News dispatched host and contributor Rachel Campos-Duffy to cover the March for Life on Friday and interview President Donald Trump. While working for Fox, Campos-Duffy has received money from the Republican National Committee for vendor work, and she has raised money for Republicans. 

Rachel Campos-Duffy is a Fox News contributor and host of the Fox Nation program Moms. She is also a “recurring guest host” on Fox & Friends and Outnumbered. She appeared on the Saturday edition of Fox & Friends Weekend and aired a pretaped report touting the annual March for Life from the prior day along with a softball interview with Trump. 

Campos-Duffy has been paid by the Republican National Committee (RNC) while working for the purported news network. According to a search of Federal Election Commission records, the RNC paid Campos-Duffy $6,030 for “event production / staging” in January 2019 (she was identified as a “vendor”). The Republican Party of Minnesota also paid Campos-Duffy $8,190 for a “speaker fee” on February 22, 2019. (Campos-Duffy was scheduled to speak at an “Elephant Club 2019 Kick-off Reception” that day with husband and then-Rep. Sean Duffy, who is now a CNN commentator and a senior official at a lobbying firm.) 

Campos-Duffy is scheduled to speak at a January 31 fundraiser for the Williamson County Republican Party in Texas. Last year, she spoke at an April 28 fundraiser for the Republican Party of Brown County in Wisconsin and a June 27 fundraiser for the Desoto County Republican Party in Mississippi. Fox News has previously claimed, despite ample evidence to the contrary, that it “does not condone any talent participating in campaign events.” 

Fox has also dispatched host Pete Hegseth to interview Trump multiple times. Hegseth has received over $50,000 from Republican groups for fundraising help while working at Fox. Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, who has taken over $200,000 from Republican groups, has also repeatedly interviewed Trump. Fox News host and Trump confidant Sean Hannity is scheduled to interview Trump on Super Bowl Sunday. Hannity, who has interviewed Trump on multiple occasions, previously campaigned with the president and has received money for helping Republicans raise funds.
