Limbaugh: Liberals expected Bush White House “to be turned into the Abu Ghraib prison”

On June 15, radio host Rush Limbaugh said liberals “were shocked” that President George W. Bush was “nice” to former President Bill Clinton at the White House for the unveiling of the Clintons' official portraits that day because "[i]t's almost like they expected at the White House yesterday to be turned into the Abu Ghraib prison. [laughter] Because Clinton was there. A-hem. [laughter]"

During the past five weeks, Limbaugh has repeatedly condoned and trivialized the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by U.S. military guards at Abu Ghraib prison.
