David Horowitz: Democrats, media are “getting Americans killed in Iraq ... because of their pathological hatred of George [W.] Bush”

David Horowitz, editor in chief of the right-wing website FrontPageMag.com, wrote the following in an article posted on the site November 1:

John Kerry, Michael Moore, the New York Times and CNN are getting Americans killed in Iraq and risking a terrorist catastrophe here at home, because of their pathological hatred of [President] George [W.] Bush. And the President should be saying so. This Bush hatred is really a hatred of country in some cases (Michael Moore) and a pathological distrust of country in others (Kerry, the New York Times). The reason why Kerry should be defeated in this election is to deny these America haters and America distrusters a victory, to strike a blow at them.

In the past year, Horowitz has appeared as a guest on CNN's Paula Zahn Now; MSNBC's Scarborough Country, The Abrams Report, and Hardball with Chris Matthews; CNBC's Capital Report and Dennis Miller; and FOX News Channel's Hannity & Colmes. Each cable news channel, as well as NBC's Nightly News, has aired excerpts of interviews with Horowitz.

FrontPage Magazine is the online news magazine of the Center for the Study of Popular Culture (CSPC). Horowitz is president of the CSPC, an organization that “is dedicated to defending the cultural foundations of a free society, a task made even more pressing by the attack on America of September 11th, the Iraq conflict and the internal opponents of freedom this attack has revealed.” He is also the author of How to Beat the Democrats and Other Subversive Ideas (Spence, 2002) and Hating Whitey and Other Progressive Causes (Spence, 1999).
