C-SPAN is under fire for reportedly planning to accompany its broadcast of a lecture by Holocaust studies professor Deborah E. Lipstadt with coverage of a speech by David Irving, who sued Lipstadt in Britain for calling him a Holocaust denier. According to The New York Times, the British court dismissed the suit, “concluding that Mr. Irving was anti-Semitic and racist and ... deliberately misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence.”
