The Daily Caller's Guns and Gear Section Published Curry's “Who Will Meet The Challenge Of World Leadership?” Op-Ed. In his January 9 piece, Curry criticized Obama's defense policy:

Is now really the right time to cut over a hundred thousand soldiers and Marines from our armed forces, especially considering our nation's current unemployment problems? Is the federal government forecasting similar reductions in its civilian work force?

Why aren't Obama's handpicked generals, admirals, intelligence, and defense officials publicly speaking out in opposition to these risky and dangerously unjustified cuts in America's armed forces? Is their oath of loyalty sworn to the White House, or is it to the Constitution of the United States?

The Daily Caller's Guns and Gear Section Published Curry's “Time To Move Past The Urination Incident” Op-Ed. In his January 18 piece, Curry criticized the Obama administration for condemning an incident in which U.S. Marines apparently urinated on the bodies of dead Afghans:

A terrorist's body getting urinated on rates a phone call from the Secretary of Defense and an apology from the Secretary of State. An American killed by an IED rates a grave at Arlington National Cemetery. What does this tell us about America's current leadership? [...]

Urinating on dead bodies may be reprehensible, but it is not a war crime, nor should it be portrayed or pursued as such. Karzai and the Taliban got it right. The corpse desecration issue is an aberration that needs to be put behind us as quickly as possible so we can focus our energies and efforts on the more important work at hand, the drafting of a workable peace treaty which Karzi, the Taliban and U.S. forces can honor. Daily Caller: Other Media Don't Have A Guns And Gear Section Because “They Are Hopelessly Out Of Touch With American Values.” From a Daily Caller press release announcing the section's launch:

Curry Has Suggested President Obama Might Secretly Be A Muslim

Curry: “Obama quacks like a Muslim, waddles like a Muslim and acts like a Muslim, so is he a Muslim?” From a Curry blog post titled “Obama the Muslim” in Human Events:

My mother believed in “common sense” testing. She said if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck and acts like a duck; it's a duck. She believed that actions speak louder than words and that only a liar said one thing and then did the opposite.

Would President Obama pass my mother's “is he a Muslim” test? Let's see. President Obama says there is nothing more beautiful than the Muslim call to prayer in the evening. He says that the United States was not founded as a Christian nation.

Obama's father and step-father were Muslims and he spent his childhood living in a Muslim country where his school enrollment records say his religion is Islam. As President of the United States he genuflects to the Muslim King of Saudi Arabia but not the Christian Queen of England. He thumbs his nose at America's friends and bows to its enemies. In short, Obama quacks like a Muslim, waddles like a Muslim and acts like a Muslim, so is he a Muslim? My mother would say, “Yes! He's a Muslim through and through.”

Growing up as a Muslim, Obama must have learned that according to the Qur'an it is acceptable to lie, deceive and live by a double standard provided in so doing one advances Islamic goals. Muslims only pretend to trust and be friends with non-Muslims; in the deepest of their Muslim hearts they have been taught that all non-Muslims are infidels. [...]

Curry Suggested Obama Had Not “Clear[ed] ... Up” Questions About His Citizenship

Curry: Congress Should Demand Obama Release His Long-Form Birth Certificate Or Resign. From the Talk To Solomon Show:

SCOTT [CALLER]: Hello, General. I want to ask you, what are your thoughts on Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin's stance that he has taken on Obama's eligibility?

CURRY: I think he's a very brave man. I hope he's got good counselors because you know they are going to try to destroy him personally in this process and I just hope he's prepared to stay for the long term.

STAN SOLOMON (co-host): Do you, General, have a opinion, I think is Scott's interest, on whether or not this President, A) should show his long-form birth certificate so that people know that in fact he was born in America and do you think that he should show his passport records to see whether or not he left the United States to go to Pakistan and do you think he should show that he is in fact a natural-born citizen and therefore eligible to President of the United States?

CURRY: Listen, we shouldn't be playing any games with this man at all. He wanted to be President. He ran a very good campaign. He is President of the United States. He's been called into question about all of those things that you mentioned and if he had anything going for him at all in terms of decency and honesty, and the kind of whatever it takes to be a good American and to be a good public servant, if he had any of that stuff he would throw it all out of the window and say “Look folks I am an American citizen. I am native born. Tell me what you want to prove it and I will give it to you.”

SOLOMON: Obviously he hasn't done that. Now because he hasn't done that do think action should be take by the Congress? Action should be taken by the people? Action should be taken by the Supreme Court? What should be done?

CURRY: Action should be taken by the Senate and it should be taken by the House. And they ought to serve notice on him and say “Mr. President we love you, but we want to tell you something. You're under a cloud of suspicion and we can't continue running this country with you in charge under this cloud. Now, either you clear it up or you resign from office.” [...]

JESSICA BRADSHAW (co-host): Us questioning whether President Obama was born in this country or not, it's not that we doubt him or that it makes us bad people, it's just like you said, we need to have that truth out, and if there is truth and if he really is eligible to be president, then there shouldn't be an issue, whether it's the Senate asking him or the Supreme Court or the people asking him, the problem is that he's been so hidden about it and he doesn't give us an answer, and that's what has everyone upset.

The comments come from Maj. Gen. Jerry Curry, who served in Vietnam and commanded the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground during his long military career.
