Right-wing media personalities repeated sexists attacks lobbed by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump following his win in five primaries. During his victory speech Trump declared, “I think the only card she has is the woman's card,” adding that “frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5 percent of the vote,” prompting right-wing media pundits to laud his sexist attack on Clinton.
Right-Wing Pundits: Trump Is Right, “If Hillary Clinton Were A Man, She'd Have Gotten Smashed” By Bernie Sanders
The Week: “Donald Trump Claims That If Hillary Clinton Was A Man 'I Don't Think She'd Get 5 Percent Of The Vote.'” On April 26, The Week reported on Donald Trump’s comments claiming that “the only card [Hillary Clinton] has is the woman's card ... She's got nothing else going on,” concluding “And frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5 percent of the vote”:
Donald Trump has accused Hillary Clinton of playing “the woman's card” before, but never was he as blunt as he was on Tuesday night while answering questions from reporters following his rash of major primary victories across the Northeast.
“Well, I think the only card she has is the woman's card,” Trump said. “She's got nothing else going on. And frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she's got going is the women's vote.”
“And the beautiful thing,” Trump went on, “is that women don't like her.” Earlier in the night, Trump also touted that he would do “far more for women than Hillary Clinton will ever do.” [The Week, 4/26/16]

GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): You know what? We've talked about this before, she played the women's card, and she played it hard, and -- I actually think that Trump is right, that she -- I think it is the only thing that she has, because -- Don't you remember at the start, how she pandered? How it was the only thing coming out of her mouth for months was about “women, women, women,” and that “I am a woman, hear me roar?” I don't know. [Fox News, The Five, 4/27/16]

Fox’s Tucker Carlson: Trump’s Attack On Clinton Is “The Truest Thing I’ve Heard All Year,” Her Candidacy “Is All About The Gender Card.” During the April 27 edition of Courtside Entertainment Group’s The Laura Ingraham Show, Fox’s Tucker Carlson praised Trump’s comments as the “truest thing” he’s heard all year, and said Clinton’s candidacy “is all about the gender card”:
TUCKER CARLSON: Yeah, that’s the truest thing I’ve heard all year. And this is -- this is why -- I mean, there's nothing about that that’s not true. Hillary Clinton – I’m not a Hillary hater actually, never have been. She’s perfectly nice in person. But she’s not impressive. And her career has not been impressive. She can’t point to a single discrete act that advanced America’s interests in a profound way. She was not an impressive secretary of state. She’s not -- I mean I’m, this day, today, I’ve talked to five people who are more impressive than Hillary Clinton. So like, it is all about the gender card, that's just true and every single person knows it. Why is it only Trump who says it? That’s kind of the question. Why is he the only one with the stones to say out loud what everyone knows is true? [Courtside Entertainment Group, The Laura Ingraham Show, 4/27/16]
