Limbaugh: Obama Wants U.S. “Without Any Power in the World”

Rush Limbaugh was all riled up today about the financial regulatory reform bill that made it through conference committee this morning. He referred to the bill as an “abomination,” a “horror,” and a “power grab.” Limbaugh also claimed that it is further proof that Obama “thinks the problem with this country had been too much liberty.” Rush then disparaged Rep. Barney Frank for his role in crafting the reform and played yet again a “parody” song about him titled “Banking Queen.”
Rush continued his attacks on the Obama administration's economic policies by criticizing the federal stimulus, asking if we're “ready to admit” that “the stimulus has not created jobs.” Limbaugh also attacked Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's comments that “growth in the future around the world cannot depend as much on the United States as it did in the past” by claiming that the president and his administration want “the U.S. without any power in the world.”
Additionally, Limbaugh discussed Arizona's immigration law, and falsely claimed that “the feds have joined a boycott of Arizona.” He also talked briefly about the Gulf oil spill and suggested that the “amount of oil that has been leaked is equivalent to an ounce of oil in a full bathtub,” claiming that “this is nothing more than a trickle.”
