To the surprise of no one, Rush Limbaugh really enjoyed Sarah Palin's comments about Obama's purported lack of “cojones.” He even saw a pattern developing, and cited similar comments made by Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL) and James Carville about the state of the president's “testicular fortitude.” Limbaugh discussed Obama's “cojones” for a full 6 minutes at the beginning of the show and returned to the topic later on, suggesting that what the president “lacks in cojones, he makes up in gall.”
Rush also spent a significant amount of time discussing an editorial from Investor's Business Daily titled “Will Washington's Failures Lead To Second American Revolution?” He called the piece “amazing,” and read it in its entirety on air to his listeners. Limbaugh suggested that “in one way or another you've heard other people say” something similar, and stated that he “would not call it a revolution,” but instead would “call it a restoration if this happens.”
Among the other topics Limbaugh discussed were the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico -- a problem he declared “solved” -- and Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Rush commented on the criticism the Clintons had received for the wedding's price tag, arguing that it was, in fact, an example of “the Clintons admitting that trickle-down economics works.”
