MARTHA MACCALLUM (FOX NEWS ANCHOR): Hi, guys, this was an extraordinary exchange. And I thought it was very interesting when President Trump said you know what it is good for people to see this.

This is the kind of event that usually happens behind closed doors and then three years later, you read it in a book and you wonder whether or not both sides have sort of worked the narrative of it to make them look better or worse. But we got to see this play out in real-time and it raises a lot of questions about where we will go from here.

I think one of them is, you know, how much does Zelensky want a peace deal? Because it feels like what he still wants is more weapons. And, he would probably love to see the United States with peacekeeping missions in with the United Kingdom and France on board with that because at one point when President Trump said you know, I am with — for America, I am for the world, I am for Europe. Zelensky sort of made a face, like are you with Europe.

And I think that this dynamic — what we are watching shift here is absolutely history unraveling. And we don't know how this is going to end. Will it embolden Putin as was just suggested or will it provide space for this deal to happen? But this was an extraordinary, historic example of negotiations.

Talk about the art of the deal that, that is what we saw working in there and whether or not this is intentional in some ways or whether or not it was an emotional outburst. And Trump sort of suggested, this is what happens when emotions roll — run over in his post there.
