BILL HEMMER (CO-ANCHOR): So you're making a case that it's the credibility of each person that will ultimately decide this. So once you start to hear them out, the American people, the senators, Republican, Democrats, decide. 

ARI FLEISCHER (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): Clearly. Put yourself in a senator's shoes, and you have two people with diametrically opposing arguments standing before you, one says it happened, one says it didn't. They're going to have to just use their judgment, as different senators with different political biases. And that's how our system is made to work frankly. There is no other way to adjudicate these things. At so at the end of the day then, it will be up to the senators to decide. And I do think that the Democrats have one goal and one goal only here, and that is to delay this beyond Election Day so they can protect their senators in red states, Donald Trump states, so that they don’t have to take a tough vote before  Election Day . Whatever they can do to stretch this out, to delay it. And of course, the lawyers for Professor [Christine Blasey] Ford are Democratic donors and Democratic operatives, and so they see the same goal line about get this beyond  Election Day. That's a problem and Republicans, I know [Sen.] Mitch McConnell won't let that happen.
