STEVE DEACE (HOST): But let's move beyond polling. And I ask myself a simple question. If it weren't for public polling, could I find any other data out there that would indicate that Donald Trump has a commanding lead in this primary? In other words, I did what I did with COVID. I asked myself, other than the data that's being shown to me by media that hates me and is trying to kill the Trump presidency with this virus, is there any other data I could find that would reinforce that the narrative they're selling me is the accurate one? So, I started looking at data from other countries who don't give a rip whether Donald Trump wins the next election or not. Right?
TODD ERZEN (CO-HOST): Yep.
DEACE: We looked at Sweden. We looked at the Dutch, had the great data, and it just completely was different than what we were being sold. Remember those days?
ERZEN: I do.
DEACE: So I did the same thing here, because I do think -- I'm not saying it's happening, but I do think it is possible that part of the polling narrative is a psyop.
...
I could not come up with another single piece of data that indicated Donald Trump had some insurmountable commanding lead in this primary, other than public polling.
So, can I sit here and say today that the public polling is wrong? No. Can I sit here and say today that the public polling is right? No. But what I can say today is until you give me a piece of data other than public polling, I'm going to go with what the rest of the data says, which is that this is very competitive, and a lot of people still haven't made up their minds yet.
