TAMMY BRUCE (GUEST): That is what is so appealing about President Trump. He loves the country. He understands about what needs to happen. But when you've got -- and dealing with violence against women is part of my history.

The fascinating thing, Sean, is that the techniques, going after us with effect, you know, condemning us as being bad people, responsible for the destruction of the earth, getting after our self-esteem, telling us that we need to be punished, and that only if we would do the right thing, we wouldn't be punished.

That is what a batterer tells his target, a battered woman. That is what's happening right now writ large in the country when you think about issues like global warming and that we're told that even our breathing is a problem and that our existence is the problem and that we have to be punished. And that -- we can't have nice things because we don't follow the rules.

But if we just do as we're told, Sean, everything would be better. This is unacceptable.

It also explains the collapse right now of the Democrat Party. It is unsustainable to use gaslighting and lies to manipulate people.

The Associated Press previously reported:

A jury awarded $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll on Friday in a stinging and expensive rebuke to former President Donald Trump for his continued social media attacks against the longtime advice columnist over her claims that he sexually assaulted her in a Manhattan department store.

The award, coupled with a $5 million sexual assault and defamation verdict last year from another jury in a case brought by Carroll, raised to $88.3 million what Trump must pay her.

...

In May, a different jury awarded Carroll $5 million. It found Trump not liable for rape, but responsible for sexually abusing Carroll and then defaming her by claiming she made it up.
