Fox's Tomi Lahren outraged about new Border Patrol job: “That they had to create a new position to essentially baby-sit illegals is mind-boggling”

PETE HEGSETH (GUEST CO-HOST): The surge of migrants at the southern border forcing Border Patrol to create a new job called processing coordinators. They'll eventually take over baby-sitting duties, caring for illegal immigrants so agents can return to the front lines and actually patrol the border.

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): You believe this? Here to weigh in is Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren. So Tomi, we need help at the border with baby sitters. I saw it up close and personal, 40% of these guys and these women were sitting there getting orange drinks and soda.

TOMI LAHREN (FOX NATION HOST): Oh, I've seen it first hand as well, in fact when I visited San Diego a few months ago, our agents were actually warming up burritos in detention processing centers for illegal immigrants. And that was their day-to-day job. And it has been for years. But it's getting so much worse. The fact that they had to create a new position to essentially baby-sit illegals is mind-boggling but it's obviously completely necessary and wise. Chief Carla Provost of Border Patrol knows exactly what she's doing. But still, this is the inaction of Congress to change asylum laws and to build a wall and to get tough on immigration that we're facing this issue.

...

KILMEADE: Who would think you could work for the government as a baby sitter? I mean that's really what they need, they need emergency baby sitters.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): With feeding, cleaning, and transporting.

HEGSETH: Yet the prospects of no serious legislation or fix anywhere on the horizon.

KILMEADE: And here's the crazy thing, there's one person died of the flu and they accuse the acting director of Homeland Security of doing it by design. Really? People come over here, we have no idea that inoculations or anything else, they're all put together in one area and you're surprised where things go wrong.

HEGSETH: These guys should be getting awards for their professionalism.

KILMEADE: Absolutely.
