CNN host Jake Tapper compared the lawsuits alleging fraud by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s Trump University real estate seminar business to the charges made in the anti-Clinton smear book Clinton Cash. Tapper questioned whether it will “be tough for Clinton to use Trump University, given the questions” raised in “that book and the forthcoming movie Clinton Cash.” While Trump University is under scrutiny as it faces several pending fraud and misrepresentation lawsuits, the Clinton Cash book was written by discredited author Peter Schweizer and contained numerous errors; the forthcoming film was produced by Breitbart News CEO Steve Bannon and is intended to damage Clinton ahead of the general election.
