GRANT STINCHFIELD (HOST): What has happened in Las Vegas is nothing short of sickening. Literally as each detail comes out, your stomach begins to churn. We now have almost 600 families that will be affected by the rampage that unfolded Sunday night. 59 people are dead, 527 injured. Many of those victims have still not yet been identified. We have family members going to Las Vegas, Nevada, waiting to hear what has happened to their loved ones. If they still do not know, the news can only be tragic. As for the shooter, we know he had 29 guns in his hotel, 19 in his home in Mesquite, Nevada. We don't want to identify him anymore, he doesn't deserve any credit whatsoever or any notoriety. We do know that he used a hammer, we believe, to bash out the windows before opening fire on that crowd. His dad was a famous criminal, on the FBI’s most wanted list as a career bank robber in the 1970s. But the big question is, what is the motive? What would cause a 64-year-old man to do this? That is the question all of us are asking, it's the question victims and victims' family members are asking. Certainly, it’s the question that investigators are asking and working so diligently to try to figure out. This is a man who had money, no sign of mental illness, seemed to be well-adjusted from everyone interviewed about him. Still though, he snapped.
