Laura Ingraham on report of sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh: “This could happen to any of you. Let's focus on men for a moment”

Ingraham: “Apparently this accuser was fine with leaving Brett Kavanaugh on the second highest court of the land ... That was OK. That was all right. But it was when he was up for the Supreme Court that suddenly the stakes got higher.”

LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): This could happen to any of you. Let's focus on men for a moment -- any of your sons, any of your brothers, any of your uncles. And they can't do a darn thing about it. Because guess what? If you start attacking this woman's credibility, you're attacking the victim. 30-plus years later. If you start questioning her political motivations, you're attacking a victim. If you start criticizing the liberal groups she's given to over the years, donated to, you're criticizing a victim. There's no win. Where do you go? That's why they released it at the last minute. This was not inadvertent. It was not -- and apparently this accuser was fine with leaving Brett Kavanaugh on the second highest court of the land. She has repressed her memory supposedly until 2012, but was OK with leaving him with three law clerks, interns, all the other women who work at the court, the second highest court of the land. That was OK. That was all right. But it was when he was up for the Supreme Court that suddenly the stakes got higher.

...

Why are we scrubbing our social media? Why is LinkedIn gone, why is all this stuff gone? Or maybe someone else took it down? I don't know. Maybe someone else took all of her things down, I don't know. But if you're a liberal and you were wronged, doesn't matter, you were still wronged. So why take it down?

...

They want to focus on what this means to women. High school party, everybody's drunk, can't remember where it was, when it was, repressed it until Brett Kavanaugh's name was mentioned as a possible Supreme Court pick in a serious way. What do you do? What are your thoughts?
