TRISH REGAN (HOST): To think someone said “Ok, go out and see what you can find.” And let's not forget the political motivation, right Misty, behind all of this. Because there's a very political component. Let's face it, a lot of people were not happy with Donald Trump winning, Hillary Clinton was the chosen one. So now you get a whole bunch of people that say you have to somehow catch him in something. What does that say? I mean I look at us and think we run a risk of being no better than a banana republic if we're out trying to lynch the next person that comes into the Oval Office all the time.
MISTY MARRIS (GUEST): It's really unfortunate Trish because, as you said, there's so much political fire behind this. And quite frankly, the way the investigation is playing out, especially now with what we've heard from Corsi and Roger Stone, it's trying to find a link, any link, using perjury traps. So, my view -- a prosecutor is supposed to be looking to build a case beyond a reasonable doubt. They only bring a case ethically when they believe they can prove a case beyond a reasonable doubt. I think Mueller is looking to create a political document, not a legal document, a political document that could be something to maybe serve as the basis of impeachment. I don't think we're looking for these legal issues anymore, we've gone too far off course.
REGAN: That is unhealthy and that is wrong. And I certainly hope that's not the case. And if it is, it shows you, every American should be concerned, absolutely tonight.
