STUART VARNEY (HOST): There's a new Gallup poll, it says more people, more Americans living without health insurance. 14 percent, according to this particular study --

BETSY MCCAUGHEY (FORMER LT. GOV. OF NEW YORK): But don't buy the media spin on this.

VARNEY: No, I don't.

MCCAUGHEY: The media -- the media are saying it's because the Trump administration sabotaged Obamacare. The real truth is that the people who have dropped out of insurance are the middle class. People who were ineligible for subsidies. One out of every five people in Obamacare who wasn't getting a subsidy has dropped out. Some bought short-term plans, but many are going without insurance entirely, and the Democratic Party needs to be reminded that poor lives matter, but middle class lives matter too. And they've got to go along with something to make insurance affordable for middle class people.
