SEAN HANNITY (HOST): They want to bring everybody back. By the way, if they call you back to testify again, will you go?
GEORGE PAPADOPOULOS: Yeah, Sean, so I -- I've been invited to testify in front of the Senate Intel Committee later this month, and I plan on going, and, you know, I think it's going to be a very interesting testimony, because it's post-Mueller report. Obviously the world knows now that I had nothing to do with Russia, neither did anyone on the Trump campaign, or even the president himself, the president himself, but you know what's the most interesting thing back here --
HANNITY: Well, let me ask you a question --
PAPADOPOULOS: Yeah.
HANNITY: If you're going to testify under oath, and you say one thing that is inconsistent with maybe previous testimony, you do know that they get to decide whether you committed perjury, lied to Congress, even though it could be the most innocent thing ever?
PAPADOPOULOS: And that's how --
HANNITY: Go ahead.
PAPADOPOULOS: Sorry, no -- you know, it's part of that, but you know, I want to make sure that the truth is out there, and also, I really want to make it clear, because this is probably the most disturbing part of my story, and probably part of the 2016 campaign. What my actual case was really all about were -- was Bob Mueller and Jim Comey actually spying on me for my ties to Israel.
This is, like, new information, that I've just been releasing now, and it's -- it came out in my congressional testimony, but they were going to hit me with a FARA charge. I think I was going to be the first person in history to be charged with working as an unregistered agent of the state of Israel. And that -- I just want to make it clear, that's the extent that these people wanted to go to, to nail me, and to make me basically lie to them, to do everything in their power to undermine Trump with my case. Of course, I never lied, I didn't undermine President Trump, I landed in jail for 12 days for it, but I wouldn't change a thing. And it goes to the same thing --
HANNITY: But why would you allow yourself -- I'm very serious here. You've already given your testimony.
PAPADOPOULOS: Yeah.
HANNITY: You know, why would you allow yourself to go under oath, and knowing that they are the ones that would decide -- now, we're going to have criminal referrals from Devin Nunes this week -- why would you put yourself in a position where, if you're under oath -- I wouldn't testify without immunity, in your case. And I would insist on it, and if you don't get it, don't do it.
PAPADOPOULOS: You know, it looks like that's what my lawyers are asking for. I have a great new legal team, and that's what they're asking for, and quite frankly, I agree with you, and if I don't get it, we're probably not going to do it.
...
You know what? I'm making -- I'm going on the record, I'm not going to testify to the Senate. That's a -- I'm going to make sure that my lawyers take care of that, but you're absolutely right. At this point I’ve testified for over 30 hours, my testimony to Congress, to the Oversight Committee has been released. That’s the story. You're absolutely right. At this point, we could -- there could be trouble, so yeah, I agree with you, Sean.
...
HANNITY: Let me tell you something -- and they -- let them hold you in contempt.
...
By the way, I would recommend anyone else that testifies, tell them “No way. I'm pleading the fifth.”
