LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): This has been going on for decades, this problem of cross-border traffic that is illegal in nature, benefiting the cartels, benefiting the drug and human traffickers, and hurting our country, changing the country in ways that nobody voted for. And a complete slap in the face to those legal immigrants who, as we know, go through the process because they love the country and they respect the country enough to follow her laws.
So, as the president was welcoming the NASCAR folks to the White House, he made that comment about how ironic is it that Mexico is now doing more than the U.S. Congress. He's absolutely right.
In a -- in an afternoon, Congress could fix this, but they refuse to do it because their goal is to change the country, any way they can.
They can't win electorally, they want to change it demographically, or bring so many new people into the country that don't have an affinity for our history or our founding, that they'll be able to snooker them on socialism. So, he's right about that.
