The Wall Street Journal launched yet another blog today, focused on the culture and economy of Japan.
Japan Real Time is “providing readers with a unique take on the news and culture of the world's second-largest economy and demonstrating The Wall Street Journal's heightened coverage of Japan. Japan Real Time features regularly updated insight and analysis from Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones reporters and editors in the region, including updates on business, economics, finance and lifestyle in Tokyo and around the country,” a press release states.
It also adds: “Japan Real Time is the latest Wall Street Journal initiative to be introduced in Japan, following the launch last December of the Japanese-language business and financial news Web site, japan.WSJ.com; a joint venture between Dow Jones & Company and SBI Holdings Inc., of Japan. The site features Japanese translations of content from all print and online editions of The Wall Street Journal and other Dow Jones publications, in addition to original content created for the site. The Japan Real Time posts will also be translated for the Japanese-language site."
