The Weekly Standard debunks D'Souza so we don't have to (again)

Andrew Ferguson at TWS lays the (rhetorical) wood on Dinesh D'Souza and his loopy new Obama-hating book, The Roots of Obama's Rage. And yes, the conservative magazine refers to D'Souza as a “committed party hack.”

Ouch.

What's Ferguson's beef with D'Souza? Simple. In an effort to demonize the president beyond recognition, D'Souza makes stuff up about Obama.

Like, all the time.

Or, as Ferguson puts it, D'Souza gleefully peddles “misstatements of fact” while shoveling “leaps of logic, and pointlessly elaborate argumentation.”

The whole thing is well worth reading. Steve Forbes is not going to be happy, but I wonder if the WashPost is still proud of publishing D'Souza's nonsense?
