Baby Steps: Fox Airs Unemployment Chart That Isn't Blatantly Misleading

Fox News' graphics department had a very bad month in December, which started off with a chart that depicted the 8.6 percent unemployment rate in November as being the same as the 9.0 percent rate from the previous month:

unemployment1

But it's a new month, with a new, lower unemployment rate of 8.5 percent -- and new opportunities for the Fox graphics department to screw up. So it was with no small amount of surprise that we noticed today's edition of The Five depicting the unemployment trend line ... accurately, with the 8.5 percent number in its proper place on the chart:

unemployment2

Given Fox's long history of misleading about unemployment rates (among many other things) under Obama, sometimes it's noteworthy when Fox actually gets something right.
