Fox Nation's Dishonest Claim: Several US Allies Won't Take Obama's Calls

It's no secret that Fox Nation regularly uses outrageous headlines to smear President Obama in any way possible. But a headline that appeared today is particularly egregious:

allies

The article that this links to, from the Jerusalem Post, reports that former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak refused to take phone calls from Obama. The reason given is that Mubarak is still offended by Obama's proposal that Mubarak step down.

That's it. The entirety of Fox Nation's evidence that a host of U.S. allies are refusing to take calls from Obama. A single report that one ousted ruler refused to take a call from Obama.

Incidentally, during the protests in Cairo, Obama spoke with UK Prime Minister David Cameron to discuss the situation, and held a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper addressing the crisis.
