HUGH HEWITT (HOST): “House Republicans hang separately.” The caucus — the knucklehead caucus is back together. The five Republican congressmen who are to the far right of the party, you may like them, you may hate them — it doesn't matter. There are five. They are stopping the Republicans from funding the Department of Defense.
Journal other headline, “McCarthy hits new hurdles with knockout — with holdout Republicans.” It's the Gaetz caucus, the knucklehead caucus. Now I know some of you like Matt Gaetz. I don't. I don't think he would pass the spelling bee. I don't know how he got into college. I don't know if he went to college. But I'll tell you one thing — he does not understand math, all right? Or destroying the party's electoral chances next fall. But if anyone can fix it, Kevin McCarthy will stand and wait and see.
