Limbaugh: Obamas Feel They Are “Owed” Special Treatment “Because Of Racial Discrimination”

Rush Limbaugh started his show by saying that the economy is in trouble, and that if he were in charge of the news he'd say that the country is “mired in a slow economic decline that's being managed artfully by the regime.” Limbaugh took care to note that he's “all for losing public sector jobs,” however, because he believes they're “a huge drain on the private sector.”

A major focus of today's Limbaugh program was his attempted rebuttal of the notion that former President Bush is still blamed by many for the state of the economy. Limbaugh called polls displaying this sentiment “phony” and egged on Democrats to keep up their attacks on Bush's record, as he felt it would backfire. As for the GOP, Rush advised them to simply oppose President Obama in lieu of presenting an agenda of their own.

Limbaugh returned to the “Marie Antoinette” characterization of Michelle Obama's trip to Europe, adding some race-baiting into the mix by accusing the Obamas of feeling they are “owed” special treatment “because of racial discrimination.”

For an entire segment Limbaugh discussed the appearance of former Bush advisor Karl Rove as a guest host on Monday, even playing audio from CNN discussing Rove's upcoming stint. Limbaugh claimed that hosting his show would finally give Rove the power he never had working in the White House.
