TODD ERZEN (CO-HOST): We live in an absurd world now where we do have transgendered people and we do have gay couples who adopt children. That should not happen, and I don't -- we all -- but let's -- we have to then fill in, how do we deal with that if in either circumstance they genuinely repent, are sorry for their sins, but still are physically altered and or legally the custodians of this child? How do we deal with that as a church? That's a mess, and this is trying to deal with what is utterly impossible. And it may get it wrong in parts about this, I fully acknowledge, but it's not as simple as just saying that, because look at the world we're dealing with. We're chopping up our bodies. Gay people are adopting children. It's a tragedy. But we do believe that they are sinners who, by the grace of God, can be -- and that's why this is all, as I said, it's a deeply theoretical how many angels will dance on the head of a pin statement that when you get into the actual mess of the real people who live those lives, good luck.

STEVE DEACE (HOST): How would a homosexual couple demonstrate that their children will be raised up in the church? Why is there more terminology referring to concern about public scandal than repentance? OK, so those are things, if I were a Catholic or even a Christian of any stripe, I'd be very concerned about how those things are proven or demonstrated.
