ALEX JONES: I want to see a lot of people go to RandPaul.com today and to donate so that we can continue to have him out there in the debates, on the campaign trail, and there is a good chance he can vault back to number one and could beat Hillary in a general election -- sorry, Ron Paul, go ahead.
RON PAUL: You know I was going to say. You stated it well because I've never been real good at calling up a person and say, 'Hey, how about donating money?' Somebody told me once don't approach this thing that they're donating money because in reality we should be asking people to invest their money.
JONES: That's it.
PAUL: It's not like they're donating money to Ron Paul or Rand Paul. I mean, this is expensive and to compete with either the very wealthy candidates or to compete with, you know, the establishment parties --
JONES: This is a war.
PAUL: Yeah.
JONES: It's a war. Our founders gave all their treasure, their blood, their families. We're not going to save the republic without giving blood, sweet, tears, and money. That's what I'm getting at.
