BILL O'REILLY (HOST): Now today, Trump released this unbelievable ad, and we're going to show you in the Bernie Goldberg segment. We're going to hold it, because we almost have to edit this thing. It's a really savage attack on Hillary Clinton. And he is obviously trying to use her to gin up even more support. Do you think that tactic is smart?

DANA PERINO: I think the timing is excellent for him. I think he has been very shrewd, and he's grown as a candidate, and he's shown at this point, now that people are really paying attention to the election -- if he's in the lead, what he wants people to start thinking is can he beat Hillary Clinton? The numbers, the polling would say well, on paper, no. But he is going to show like, you think that I'm afraid to take on Hillary Clinton? I'm not, watch me, and this ad is an example of that.

O'REILLY: Right, and that's another good point. That's two good points you have made tonight.

[...]

What he is going to try to do, Trump now, is stay away from the attacking the Republicans.

PERINO: Yep. Why would he need to?

[...]

O'REILLY: [B]y making Hillary Clinton the focus, and this ad that we're going to show you features Cosby, Monica Lewinsky.

PERINO: It's brutal.

O'REILLY: You know, I don't know if Hitler made it, but you know, he might have. It's crazy.
